So Cliff's notes is releasing DVD's, Like Cliff's Notes, Hamlet, Anna Karrenina, and Hamlet. So kids don't even have ebough attention span to sit through a 2 hour movie, they have to boil it down???

My question should have been....

For those of us who don't have times to read the cliff's notes, is there a video version. You know, something like an extended trailer with spoilers.

Skip - you are joking aren't you? This just can not be true. It makes me want to sit on the front porch, rock in my rocker, and wonder what the world is coming to!

He's not joking Kathy. It was reported at The Digital Bits last week or so.

Unfortunately they're having server issues, so I can't point it to you.

Don't bother, they're testing brain implants. The Borgs are coming.
This can not come too soon since the children today can not take order or make change unless the cash register has a picture of the item. Pretty soon they will not even have hit the streets to find their drugs. We can just stack them up like cord wood. I solves the over population problem.

I was looking at some college catalogs and noted that they had multiple semester courses on programs I figured out how to use in about 15 minutes. College today is just a warehousing system interested making money.
We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own.

Cliff notes version of Wizard of Oz:

BW shot of tornado, Dorothy screaming "Auntie Emm, Auntie Emm!"
fade to Musical Number: "We're Off to see the Wizard (final rendition with Scarecrow, Lion and TinMan)
fade to Throne Room of the Emerald Palace: Wizard gives the Mission: Impossible to the foursome. (throw in a little "Theme from Mission Impossible" just to give the idea this might be difficult)
fade to scene outside Wicked Witch's Castle: Yo E Oh, Yooo Oh, Yo E oh, Yoooo, Oh.... (with a little "I'll get you my pretty" with background music "Vader's Theme from Star Wars Episode IV, to let viewer's know old green face IS the bad guy)
fade to Wicked Witch's Castle interior: "I'm Melting, melting, melting.........  Glenda tells Dorothy: Yo, click them blingy shoes together 3 times and this bad trip will end"
fade to Kansas, Dorothy regains consciousness and Toto barks.
The End

Runtime 15 minutes.

RossRoy: Cliffs Notes are the U.S. version of Cole's Notes here in Canada.

DJ Doena: Traditionally, Cliffs Notes are basically super-abridged versions of books, along with some analysis. A 300 page novel boiled down a fraction of that, as well as some thoughts on the deeper meaning. Most commonly used by students when they're assigned novels in school and don't want to read the whole thing.
