Quote: KEN: The new LG Bluray Burner support reading UHD Discs..... If your Interested mail me and i will get you the Description of the Drives....
We have one in-house and have verified the disc ID function works as intended. Support for "4K Ultra HD" has been added as a full media type, with automatic and custom banners, filters, etc.
The media name isn't set in stone; will be taking input during the beta soon. Quoting Ken Cole: Quote: There are changes to support the new data, but nothing too ground shaking. And yes, all backwards compatible afaik. I'm assuming this will include disc ID support for triple layer discs? |

Profiler always reads the Blu-ray Disc IDs correctly, but it never finds the corresponding entry in the database. | | | Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. | Posted: | | | | I checked a few discs against an empty database, and most that actually had disc id in the online profile worked correctly. I did find one that failed, though; Christine (5037899069769). I added it by UPC instead and verified that the disc id in the profile was identical to the id on the actual disc. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |
