| Posted: | | | | Highly suspicious IMO: - No release date on amazon.com; - No UPC/EAN on camelcamelcamel; - Image search with the amazon cover picture leads to nothing. | | | Last edited: by Wigram |

| Posted: | | | | I found an additional picture that shows the UPC on an eBay listing, but when I look it up, it comes back Game of Thrones season 3 blu-ray, so I'm gonna agree bootleg. It sucks because it looks nice, I love those condensed scanovo cases (I know they're controversial), and the series hasn't been released in the US. |

And the UPC in their listing doesn't even match the UPC on their product images. Now we know why. |

| Posted: | | | | I feel like going out and buying this just to add to whatever annoyance it causes anyone involved in the decision to legitimately release Seasons 1-5 in the UK on Blu-ray and then not bother doing so with the last two seasons. Except £117.94 (Amazon UK) is a lot to pay to make a point that won't even be noticed. I had to admit to buying a couple of somewhat suspect box sets recently on eBay that seem to originate in the far east somewhere. But with there being no official physical media releases of these, it doesn't feel a bad thing to do. If the copyright owners, distributors etc want my money, then they know what they need to do and I'd be very happy to pay them for doing so. The quality of the dodgy copies is very good, even down to nice, embossed slip covers and things. | | | Do you ever find yourself striving for perfection with an almost worthless attempt at it? Guttermouth "Lemon Water". Also, I include in my Profiler database VHS tapes, audio DVDs, audio books (digital, cassette and CD), video games (digital, DVD and CD) and 'enhanced' CDs with video tracks on them, as well as films and TV I've bought digitally. So I'm an anarchist, deal with it. Just be thankful I don't include most of my records and CDs etc in it too; don't think I haven't been tempted... |

| Posted: | | | | Those first 6 numbers of the UPC in the pic are assigned (correct term?) to Warner Bros. releases, hence the UPC coming up as a Game of Thrones release. I've done so many profiles over at DVD Profiler than I can tell what company is releasing a particular title just by the first 6 digits of the UPC. | | | My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT. FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that. Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it! |

| Posted: | | | | @SpikyCactus: I buy a lot of complete series on "small adds" (formerly "Ebay Kleinanzeigen", now only "Kleinanzeigen", as far as I know only available in Germany), always searching for the term "complete series". And sometimes I am surprised when people try to sell german DVDs of a series never released in Germany.
We all know that stuff we would like to own in our collection and never can understand why they are not released. Imo the problem since the streaming era began is that they simply produce too much fort TV and all the streamers. And mostly they got no idea if any collectors would buy. Sometimes they try, but if the first few seasons are sold too less, they quit releasing.
I have this problem with "Charlies Angels", "Streets of San Francisco", "Hart to Hart", "The Fall Guy" and quite sure some others, too. Especially Colt Seavers should be complete... but as the german TV never ordered all episodes of seasons 3 - 5, it is questionable if they ever will be released. There is only one shimmer of hope: WIthin the last 2 years Sky bought the rights for all episodes and I heard that I even synchronized the ones never shown on german TV. If that's true maybe in close future there is a chance that finally the rest of the series could be released. But so far it remains a dream.... |

It was wildly popular, yet only two of six seasons were ever released on DVD, and it's not streaming anywhere (afaik). | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |
