| Posted: | | | | Is there a way to convert an XML DVD Profiler export into a CVS file? I found another movie database, Movie Buddy, but it only imports CVS files. |

| Posted: | | | | I've found a number of online sites and apps that claim to be able to do this conversion but I'm not sure how well they will work for this. I am hoping there is a plugin that will do this. Any thoughts or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. |

| Posted: | | | | You could probably do it with ProfilerQuery. You can save the result of a query as a CSV file (I assume that's what you meant). But you would, of course, need to know the exact format that is needed; which fields and in which order. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | FWIW, years ago Mark Harrison rewrote an old Invelos plugin to do jut this as well with its fairly simple UI, and although it's no longer listed in the plugins section here it's still on his site: doena-soft.deHowever, the last update was v2.1 and is from 2012, five years before Profiler 4.0 released, and so it does cough up a bunch of errors with reading the current database structure, but actually surprisingly still completes the export properly - at least on the few tests done here. I imagine there are some fields it can't export... but for basic data it may still suffice. GSyren's tool though is actively supported, as he's obviously also here to answer questions , so that's probably the best path - but at least there are options. |
