For quite some time I didn't want to do kind of child profiles with Alt. ID if there are several movies on one disc. Meanwhile I changed and started to do.... but it was shocking to find out, that on my new PC (now with Win11) the DiscIDs of the same Discs I created the profiles with Win8.5 (or even XP) no are different:

Example:
Win8.5
BB66DADD24A03E01 [FILMPERLEN_DER_60ER_DISC5]

Win11
66EECD4F1DDD7582 [FILMPERLEN_DER_60ER_DISC5]

Is this something known? Could I do anything with Windows 11 that it still reads the IDs the same way the former version did?

You don't need to read the disc again, just use the Create Version under Change UPC, making sure to select retain current version. See image below for an example.

Sorry for the late answer... don't know how this happened, but I checked "subsribe" before releasing the thread - and never got any info.
Well, I decided to avoid installation of further tools... I do it the way with new IDs
And I mostly don't need any Alt. Version as most of the profiles I needed this for "only" exist with the ID of former Windows

Please don't. If Microsoft ever fix this, we have invalid Disc IDs in the database. I can supply you my registered copy of SlySoft AnyDVD which you can run in the background, while using DVDProfiler, and it will read the actual Disc ID.

After almost seven years you are still thinking Microsoft will change this back - not happening! Like many other changes users have disagreed with "This is a feature, not an error."

The rules tell you how to obtain the disc-id. :

"Disc IDs
Add disc information for each disc using a DVD-ROM drive."

No mention of using any other software to obtain the disc-id.

Okay, maybe they never will. But if they change it again (not that unlikely), we will end up with even more "fictional" Disc IDs.

If anybody is interested, BulkEdit has some DiscID tools, under the menu Tools\DiscIDs.

The validation tool will check all flagged discIDs and unflag all the good ones, and leave the suspected bad ones flagged for manual attention. DJ Doena has tools that could be used to do the manual fix, I believe.

Here is the BulkEdit validation process:

(1) First, a check is made to see whether for each flagged profile, its last change was approved after windows version 1809 (2018, November 11).
(2) If so, then all discIDs in that profile are suspect, and the profile is flagged for further analysis
(3) If not, then by definition, the discID could not have been set to the incorrect version created by Windows 1809
(4) Then, for each suspect profile, the online database is searched for all titles with changes approved prior to Windows 1809
(5) The discIDs from all the found profiles are collected. They are known to have been created prior to Windows 1809, and are therefore "good"
(6) All discIDs for each suspect profile are checked in turn, against the set of "good" discIDs.
(7) If all discIDS in a suspect profile are found on the "good" list, that profile is unflagged.
(8) The process ends when all suspected profiles have been examined. The discIDs in the remaining flagged profiles must then be manually validated.

Also:

Menu: DiscIDs > Add by Legacy DiscID

First the scanned discID is converted to the pre-windows 1809 version if necessary. If that discID is found in the online database, then the profile is added, using that discID. If not, the online database is searched for the set of profiles with matching titles. Then those online profiles are checked to see if they were created prior to Windows 1809. If so, then their discIDs are collected. Because these discIDs are "correct," all such profiles are added to a drop-down list for the user to select from, in order to add the profile.
