| Posted: | | | | Since Disney, owner of Fox decided not to release any 4K UHD's in Belgium and the Netherlands, the French department seems to have taken care of that.
Now, The Last Duel 4K is been released in France with Dutch subtitles, a dual French as English title and also has the rating logo and details for Belgium/the Netherlands. At this moment, the profile for this is set for France as it's origin release country, with English title, with rating for Belgium/Netherlands, but without rating details and with a Dutch synopsis taken from the Dutch release on Blu-ray.
As this version is sold in the stores here in Belgium/Netherlands and online like Bol, Bookspot, ... I was wondering if it's allowed to also create a Dutch profile, even to know that it's not an official release in BE/NL?
Any suggestions?
Thanks! |

| Posted: | | | | Are you sure it's not officially released? Given it actually has a Dutch overview and ratings on the cover, that would imply it's official as it's clearly being marketed to the Dutch market.
Personally I would enter it as a Dutch release, but arguably the rules require both the French and Dutch synopsis on the profile as the overview is supposed to match exactly what's on the cover. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 |

Actually no, the rules say: Quote: For multi-language cases, use only the language of the DVDs locality. So if it is entered as Dutch locality it should only have the Dutch overview. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

I have the version that I got from BOL, it has only a french and an english synopsis, not Dutch. The cover you see, seems to be a fake one. A 4K cover with Dutch language officially doesn't exist.
I did a contribution this week to change the synopsis, the title into the French title (le dernier duel) and scans of the original and official cover.
Though, I still would like to make a Dutch profile as it's sold here and as the flags of the countries and rating logo's with details are on the front cover. |

That makes it more difficult, are the ratings printed as part of the cover or stickers that could have been added by the retailer? In the former I lean towards doing a contribution, but in the latter case I wouldn't. That's purely an opinion based on rules that aren't really catering for more and more scenarios though so others may not agree. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | It s printed on the cover. I am going to create a dutch profile for the 4k and add the synopsis from the bluray. Meanwhile i will update the french profile following the rules. |
